A Woman defends A Man Who Didn’t Like Seeing Her Breastfeed

InoaGroup.com - Breastfeeding or nursing is the feeding of babies and young children with milk from a woman's breast. During the first few weeks of life babies may nurse eight to twelve times a day (every two to three hours). The duration of a feeding is usually ten to fifteen minutes on each breast. Health professionals recommend that breastfeeding begin within the first hour of a baby's life and it be allowed as often and as much as the baby wants. The frequency of feeding decreases as the child gets older. Some mothers pump milk so that it can be used later when their child is being cared for by others.   OTHER ALSO READ: Wow! A Canton, Connecticut, mother was shaken as she said she was "verbally assaulted" by a man who did not like seeing her breastfeed her
4-week-old baby in a Target food court Monday.

"Before the video started rolling, he looked at me and said (very angrily), 'Can't you do that somewhere else? That's (expletive) disgusting. You are nasty,'" she said in an explicit Facebook post in which she shared video of the incident. Maher, who works as a doula, can be heard on video saying she was shaking when the man began berating her. She said he  called her disparaging names. The mother told WTIC Tuesday that the man initially looked at her and appeared to become angry. He then asked employees for a refund. "He was coming back; that's when he started screaming at me," Maher said. "Because I'm feeding my baby, this man is going crazy." Maher said that Target employees came to her defense, as did some shoppers, one of whom can be heard on the video voicing support. "Do not be ashamed at all," the shopper said. "(With) all the horror in the world, this is the last thing you need to be worrying about." The video the mom posted to Facebook received more than 3.8 million views and countless comments of support, that man also reportedly asked for a refund because the woman was feeding her baby.

"What is the Meaning of Strongest Dollar For You"

The 24 percent surge in the currency since June will take time to gradually ripple through the world’s largest economy, first showing up in lower costs for goods imported by American companies and then in the prices paid by consumers, according to economists at Barclays Plc, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. The strongest dollar in more than 11 years is coming soon to stores across the U.S. That means the dollar will be the next check on inflation, replacing oil as fuel costs stabilize.
Clothing and Electronics are among the items that will probably carry smaller price tags as the greenback’s appreciation works its way to store shelves and dealer showrooms. That will give an added boost to household buying power, which is already benefiting from the lowest gasoline prices in six years and larger job gains.

The cost of imported goods and services has dropped for seven straight months, the longest such stretch during an economic expansion since 1998, mainly caused by the plunge in energy, according to Labor Department data. “You can’t expect a better environment for consumers,” said Gregory Daco, lead U.S. economist at Oxford Economics in New York. Combined with cheaper fuel, “the stronger dollar is an additional layer of downward pressure on inflation.” A report Thursday is projected to show prices for goods made overseas rose 0.2 percent in February as crude oil stabilized.
